ViaSat has been a trusted partner with the US military in their satellite communications for over 30 years. In 2011 they launched the largest satellite in space called the ViaSat 1. At that time they began to offer residential and business high-speed Internet to customers, through the Exede service. For two years in a row the Exede service has had the #1 ranking by the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) for delivering more than they're promising in the way of speeds. In February, 2018 the ViaSat 2 was activated and now offers over double the capacity of the ViaSat 1, which means more speed and much more through put ability. This is like going from a four lane interstate to a 8 lane, which means we that have ViaSat are going to continue to see an improved service. This has made it easy for us as a local dealer to look people in the eye and tell them they are getting a very good service with a reputable company.
